Applicants should hold a PhD, and ideally postdoctoral experience, in a relevant field. We particularly welcome applications from candidates with experience of commissioning and handling review-type content and/or with general editorial experience.
The successful candidate will have strong writing, communication, networking and interpersonal skills. We are also looking for enthusiasm, motivation, commitment, and a broad interest in science and the scientific community.
Core responsibilities include:
- Commissioning, handling peer review and developmental editing of review content.
- Representation of the journal at local and international conferences, and within the wider scientific community.
- Contributing to interview and editorial pieces within the journal.
- Running active and engaging social media platforms.
- Creative involvement in the journal’s development and marketing activities.
This is a permanent position, based on the outskirts of Cambridge, UK, with the option of 50% remote working.
